Cortina 1956 is one of Dale of Norway’s most iconic designs and the brand’s first official Olympic sweater, created for the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo. This relaunched version stays true to the original design and reflects genuine Norwegian knitting heritage.
The distinctive pattern is inspired by traditional Norwegian knitwear and has become a symbol of authentic Nordic craftsmanship. A versatile sweater suitable for everyday wear as well as outdoor life.
Made from 100% long-lasting Norwegian wool (33.5 micron), a natural fiber known for its warmth, breathability and durability. The wool is temperature regulating and designed to last for many years.
